My intention is also to create a comfortable space to learn, ask questions, and interact with like minded people who love(or want to love) cooking!
The name SaltPepperGarlic is an ode to my late mother, the person responsible for my culinary passion and expertise. Whenever my mom didn’t feel like cooking she’d tell me “I took some meat out… throw a lil salt pepper garlic on it and put it in the oven on 350.” As if saying “throw a lil salt pepper garlic on it” meant I wasn’t *actually* cooking. And of course I never put *just* salt, pepper, and garlic on it. Not after I, like most millennials, spent countless hours of my formative years watching the Food Network!
